The ID Flagler Village rental townhouse project has broken ground in Fort Lauderdale and secured a $9.2 million construction loan.
This is part of a major residential, retail and hospitality development wave for the Flagler Village neighborhood on the north side of downtown Fort Lauderdale. Its close proximity to the downtown office market and the forthcoming Brightline passenger rail station has many developers betting that the neighborhood will boom with residents and visitors.
The Flagler Arts & Technology Village has brought a creative workforce to the area.
Ceiba Groupe and Managing Principal Adam Bedzow, obtained the mortgage for its project at 113 N.E. 6th St. from Fifth Third Bank about a month after starting construction. ID Flagler will have 24 townhouses of three stories each. The units will be about 2,000 square feet each and include a two-car garage and a patio.
Miller Construction is the general contractor for ID Flagler Village, which was designed by Adache Architects.
The project should begin pre-leasing in the fourth quarter of 2017 and open in the first quarter of
2018.
